Submissions from Grades 7–12 will be professionally judged by John Accurso and Li Ching Accurso on March 31st. Awards will be given during the opening reception, based on composition, presentation, and craftsmanship.
This year the Youth Arts Show is collaborating with the Mother Lode Art Association. The MLAA will be doing a separate judging for merit awards on April 9th, for submissions from Grades K–6. Selected YAS pieces will be photographed and shown in a slide show during the MLAA's art show reception at the Opera Hall, Friday, April 11th at 6:00 pm. Merit award winners will be acknowledged during the presentation.
